Significant Controllers Register
The Significant Controllers Register (SCR) service is HK$500 a year; the designated representative is a separate HK$1,000 a year.
The Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) requires every company incorporated in Hong Kong, other than a listed company, to keep a Significant Controllers Register recording the people who have significant control over the company, and to name a designated representative. Not keeping one is a criminal offence: the company and every responsible person are each liable to a level 4 fine (HK$25,000), and a further fine of HK$700 a day each. We identify your significant controllers, and keep and update the register. Every company must also name at least one designated representative; we can act as yours, charged separately at HK$1,000 a year. It is easiest to arrange it together with the company secretary service.
